Stayed one night with my fiancé. When we arrived the clerk was in bed, I guess. We rang the door bell, minutes later he let us in. He informed us that when we go to check out that we shouldn't bother him because he won't be awake. We then get to the room and I noticed a herd of crickets outside our door. My fiancé saved the day when he squashed about 20 of them with his boot, you know, the ones that were trying to enter our room. We get inside, the room appears clean, looks like it's newley remodeled & has a generally nice appearance. Toilet and shower worked, bed was semi-comfortable, so what more could you ask for? The next morning, I dropped my earring on the floor so I got on my hands and knees and began the search. Upon turning on my flashlight on my cell phone, I find empty Miller Lite cans & dead bugs under the sofa. Thankfully I was moments away from leaving, so it didn't bother me too much. But then when we walk out the door, the herd of crickets multiplied by the hundreds, and no, I'm not exaggerating! I was wearing flip flops & trying to rush to the car. The vehicle next to me pulled out of his parking spot & there were even more crickets that were sheltering by his tires. Me being a girl, I squealed when I squished one in between my foot and the inside of my flip flop. Needless to say, the hotel room was alright, the crickets were a bit much, and next time I'm heading from Ausrin to San Antonio, I'll pay the extra $30 to actually stay in San Antonio.
