I spent just 1 night at the hotel. The pool was unheated, which would probably be fine during the day, but it was too cold at night (late May). It was on the 2nd floor, I think, & offered views towards a few bars (a street perpendicular to the beach). The pool bar looked nice, but I never tried it. The lobby was a little small & it was weird having to walk down from Avenida Boa Viagem to get there. It had a cute little bar, which served a strong & not very sugary or limey caipirinha. I didn't like it that much. My dinner was decent, but overpriced. I had espaguete ao pomodoro with a caprese salad as well. They were decent serving sizes. The elevator & room felt pretty used. The bedding was not great. The mattress a bit stiff. Also, the shower drain seemed to be screwed closed & the soap stuff was very low quality. However, my room had a beautiful view of the beach. I wish I had gotten one double bed instead of 3 twin beds, but it was only one night so I didn't complain. There was no minibar list of prices or menu, & nothing was in the fridge except for 4 small waters, so I assumed they were free, but I paid R16, as they were 4 each. I wouldn't go out of my way to avoid this place in the future- it was a nice quiet, safe part of Boa Viagem- but I will probably stay somewhere else next time. The value appeared to be good when I booked, but I was disappointed with it when I stayed there.
