Stayed in the Deluxe Villa, Lanai in April 2023 and paid $577 US for one night. This was their premium suite.
The space was impressive at nearly 2,000 sq ft. Had an old-world feel. The view from the outdoor pool area was magnificent. But anyplace with a balcony that high up would have magnificent views. So no points there really. While impressed with the size of the space, I was very disappointed with simple comforts you would expect for paying nearly $600 for one night and quite upset about the use of the attached pool.
The infinity pool was listed as being heated, but once on the premises, I was told they only heat it if both suites connected to it are rented. So no heated infinity pool which was the KEY reason I was willing to pay the premium price. Swimming outside in April with mountain views. So sad that didn't happen. I tested the water anyway but it was too cold for more than a few minutes. We made use of the sunk-in tub in the bathroom which took about 1.5 hrs to fill.
The furniture was all wood. Even the couches, no cushions. Just wood. We went to open a bottle of wine and they had plastic party cups for a children's party as the only available cups.
No robes, no slippers, no extra blankets... Towels were okay but the shower curtain had mold on it.
If they just got a small fridge, cushions for the couches, glassware, a TV that worked, blue-tooth speakers, and heated the pool as advertised, it would have been great.
I'd not stay here again.
