I would really like to give this hotel a high score. Unfortunately, there are many reasons why I can't give a high score. Hotel Location - Because this is situated on the lower part of El Nido which is south of the downtown area, the beach is at a low tide ALL DAY. By early evening, there is tide. I know the timing does not do anyone good when you can't really enjoy the beach during the day when there is NO water. But, most people do island tours during the day anyway. In addition to hotel location, this is far from downtown. If you like to go to town, you have to get a tricycle and pay thirty pesos one way per person. Ride is only 10 mins. But walking is about 30 mins. Food On-Site - All hotels in El Nido offers FREE breakfast. It is not the culinary cuisine style, so expect the basic. As for lunch and dinner, I would recommend that you go to town. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Bed and Bathroom - The bed is very uncomfortable. The mattress is thin. I end up having lower back throughout the duration of my stay there. As for bathroom, there is hot shower, but the water pressure is very poor. It's like taking a shower in a primitive campground with no city water. Ambiance - there is a swimming pool. Unfortunately, it is NOT well-maintain. In fact, it is dirty most of the time. Bring earplugs. Customer Service - I would give them a 3 rating on this. Most of them are very nice and accommodating. They don't always have fresh coffee and too bland.
