I was traveling with my teenage son. I had an event to attend that was nearby the hotel that started at 3 PM. My check in time was supposed to be 3 PM, so it should’ve been an easy transition. However, my room was not ready for over an hour due to Other guest being allowed to check out late, coupled with the fact that they were short on housekeeping staff. It was very uncomfortable for me to have to leave my teenage son there without knowing that our room was secure. Wow, one of the ladies at the front desk was apologetic and offered us a $10 coupon for food, the other one was Not concerned about our situation at all. In fact, she acted as if she was completely unbothered and had no consideration at all. It made for a pretty uncomfortable stay and a $10 coupon was not near good enough compensation for what we experienced.
