The property itself is great. The reason for my bad review is due to Dave from Starfish Manor. While my wife and I were in the hot tub, Dave invaded our space by aggressively screaming and waving his arms around saying that my dog is not a service dog. He came up to my wife while she didn’t have her clothes on, and he came 4 feet away from her without a mask screaming in her face. The strange part about this interaction is that I never said he is a service dog. I told the agent at the counter that he is an ESA dog, and Dave kept yelling about him not being a service dog. This could have been handled in a professional manner, but Dave was furious and animated, without a mask during the pandemic. He then proceeded to charge me $250 without my consent, and the front desk would not reverse the charge despite me showing them paperwork from a clinical psychologist, stating that my dog is an ESA. Dave scared my wife with his aggression and ruined the rest of our morning and afternoon that would have been peaceful without his invasive behavior and aggression. This will not be the end of the issue, but I believe starfish manor has people that are unprofessional because the lady at night wrote down a note on our file that he is an ESA dog, then they let us stay there, and then I was charged after they made this mistake themselves, but I am supposed to pay for it? This is absolutely ridiculous and shameful. I would not stay here if you do not want drama from the people at Starfish Manor
