Yosh and Roxana where so helpful to set up transportation and day trips for me. I loved the breakfast provided and the bar staff were so friendly. I felt very safe and it was a home away from home. The Beach was steps away and the water was beautiful.

Great for beach access

Room was spacious and fairly clean with strong AC and amazing water pressure. The pool was really nice, and we regularly saw beautiful parrots fly overhead while we swam. Staff was lovely once you get past the check-in where they were pretty aggressive about selling tours. Restaurant and bar were great, and the breakfast was perfect for an active day. Unfortunately, their policy is to charge $20/hour for late check out, but when the electricity and water went out 3 hours before our check out leaving us without a shower that day, they offered no compensation or extra time to clean ourselves. Really, the only flaw of this place was the reception staff. Otherwise, lovely place!

This property has a beautiful location right on the beach!! the pool is perfect. We loved our stay very much, we recommend rooms 14, 15...those in the back facing the pool that is right next to the bar, which is on the other side of the beach. You can't beat it!

There was roaches and the rooms smelled really bad. Couldn’t sleep because I just felt dirty sleeping in those beds. My parents found trash under their beds and empty beer bottles. Terrible stay.

Is not a fancy hotel. however, has everything you need, clean, good air conditioning and hot water. Pool is perfect, walk easy to the beach. Restaurant and bar near the pool. The restaurant has good food but not a big selection but you always can order out to be deliver. Do not let the entrance turn you off. Is a really good small hotel.

I accidentally booked two nights for the wrong week. Per their word, it was going to be canceled so I could reschedule it for the current week. After some promises, I went ahead and booked the correct date, yet they still refuse to cancel my orignal payment. They are unethical and greedy.

Perfect hotel for beach / bar / pool / surf.

This is a gem in South Beach, the best beach in Jaco. I really enjoyed the resort-like atmosphere. Staff is friendly, attentive and professional. This was better than my expectations but I love Pura Vida already.

Such a beautiful place! We didn't want to leave!

Beauty every where you look. Easy access to downtown. It was fun to watch the surfers and play in the water. Everyone was friendly, the pool was sparkling clean, and the food was great!

I enjoyed my stay overall, mainly because of the amazing location—being right by the beach was definitely a highlight! The bar staff and servers were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. However, the front desk service wasn’t as warm or helpful, which was a bit disappointing. The accommodations could also use some updates—the room felt a bit outdated, and the towels weren’t the best quality. That said, the beach access and the vibe at the bar made up for some of the downsides. With a few improvements, this place could be a real gem!

This was a very convenient place to walk into downtown. I would have liked more amenities and labeled champions and soap but it worked as a base hotel. The staff was very friendly and available and the surfing was great!

Older charming hotel. Great traditional Costa Rica breakfast daily. Nice pool. Amazing beach. Able to rent boogie boards and take surf lessons. Efran at the beach bar was friendly and made great cocktails. Katherine at front desk was very helpful. She made arrangements for excursions and taxis and was so very nice. Sweet hotel dog Flocko was a memorable part of our stay. Would return.
