The building was built to look like a colonial home turned into an inn, and it definitely does. High ceilings, beautiful hardwood floors, and antique-style furniture really gave it the look and feel of an older home. The keurig in the room with Starbucks k-cups is a nice touch. There were a few small things that could’ve been nicer, like a water spot on the ceiling, chairs that were so worn out it felt like you might fall through, and spots on the walls that had been patched but not repainted. The beds were comfortable, and the AC was nice and cold. Don’t be fooled by their “pet-friendly” policy, though, as you can’t leave your pet unattended at any time. Ever. So you have to take your pet with you every time you leave your room. The walls are also pretty thin, so you can hear everything in the hallways or from the (gorgeous) wraparound porches.
