This was a most unpleasant experience.
I booked, and had a confirmation. It was pay on check out.
I emailed the hotel and advised them that my flight arrived late, 00:30.
I got no reply.
I arrived at the hotel at about 1:30 am. A grumpy old man came out to the taxi and said 'no room'. I showed him my expedia confirmation he just shrugged his shoulders and repeated, what I guess is his only English, 'no room'.
So at 1:30 am after a long day of travelling, tired, I had to start looking for somewhere to stay.
Thankfully the taxi driver, who was great, suggested a reasonably priced 4 stay hotel close by. I called them and got a room with breakfast for £40.
