Location close to the beach might be the only thing I like about the hotel, if I hadn't learned later that the working staffs are nice, but they are not allowed to service the guests.
We called ahead regarding the hotel details, we were told to book through agents.
We then booked a villa, but there is an outdoor wedding (with decent sound device & karaoke) right outside the room. We were offered a downgrade to a much cheaper room, with no refund. Spent a few hours argued with the manager, we accepted a downgrade with a small cash refund, as if we get the rack rate for the downgraded room. The hotel even asked us to compensate the commission they paid to Expedia.
For the breakfast, it is average for a 2.5*-3* hotel, for a normal customer like myself.
The room is quite big, but could be full of mosquitoes.
Parking is also horrible-- only small spaces in front of the hotel.
Despite the bad impression, I really think maybe the hotel would target a corporate event rather than retail guests. It has the facilities, locations, capabilities, and maybe services, you would ask for to organize an event, but for a retail guest like myself, feeling of a greedy and ignorance hotel is what to expect.
