We stayed in this quaint little hotel during our weekend visit in Amsterdam. The hotel is located near a small town of Muiderberg where Muiderberg castle is a main local attraction. The hotel is approximately within 25 min drive from downtown Amsterdam and is much more affordable than any hotels in the Amsterdam old town area. If you want to get to Amsterdam from the hotel, drive for approximately 10-15 min to P+R (Park + Ride) Zeeburg 1 or Zeeburg 2 (two parking lots off highway A10. These parking lots are secure and open 24 hrs. Parking costed us about 24 EUR per day. You can leave your car at P+R and catch tramway #26 to Amsterdam main train station (5 EUR for two round trip tickets). The hotels amenities included free private parking and a very nice restaurant. The service in the hotel was most accommodating. The ladies at the reception offered some good advise on transportation and things to see. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Good choice of beer, wine, etc. We did not have breakfast, but you can purchase it for additional 12 EUR per person. The room was descent size by European standards. Small flat screen TV and free WiFi. No fridge or microwave in the room. The restaurant, bar, and reception close around 10 -10:30 PM, so make sure to bring your room keys with you, if you out and about until late. A very pleasant stay overall. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
