To put this review in context, we decided to stay here as we couldn't find anything else locally during Lunar New Year, so it was fine for our purposes but it isn't designed or meant to be a hotel and you can tell. The Golf Club and area itself is a step back into the classic, 19th century colonial style British Empire. The food at the restaurant is perfectly OK. Nothing outstanding. The rooms are not used regularly, they are a little damp and musty, the beds are very soft, and the bathroom shower is a bit hit and miss...that said, for the price paid its a decent enough place to sleep if you cant find anything else. The best thing about this place it is waking up at the crack of dawn and watching the sunrise across the golf course with the dewy, misty mornings and having a nice breakfast on the verandah.
