Work trip, felt at home in the heart of the CBD.
I was in Cairns on business, and I would happily take my wife back for a getaway to this boutique hotel in Cairns. Little extra touches, including the humidifiers that were incredibly relaxing , other touches like the lounge area with coffee, quality biscuits and complementary water made me feel at home.

i transit overnight through Cairns every 2-3 weeks, so i look for somewhere that is comfortable, close to town and i can store luggage for return. I have found the Abbott to be best value for this and intend to be a regular.

Affordable luxury
The moment I walked in I felt welcomed, manager and staff were very friendly, the room had luxury vibes without the luxury price, very clean and a good size room and bathroom, shower was great and the bedding and pillows were amazing. Nice comfortable and clean lounge on level one with complimentary water, coffee and biscuits is nice. Location is great, city centre and a 5 min walk to the esplanade (pool) and harbour, also very quiet (no large tour groups) Definitely be back and will recommend.

This is a cute little hotel in the middle of everything. Walking distance to all our activities, grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. They have a nice lounge with free coffee and water. Though we didn’t use the coffee the water was great. The only reason I was give it a 4* is because the WiFi went in and out and the dryer wouldn’t really dry. Fortunately, we had two days to hang dry our clothing. But, the free washer was amazing. We would definitely stay here again! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

A short one night stay. It was cheaper to go through the booking options rather than directly with the hotel. However, this did not dampen our experience. The hotel was beyond clean and beautifully appointed. Lounge area & kitchen were very nice and we did use both during our stay.
