The staff in that hotel is beyond nice and helpful. They try to do the best they can at all time. For Yangon standards, this is a great place to stay with a great value for money.

Une belle découverte de la capitale
J’ai choisi cet hôtel pour le restaurant, bar sur le toit avec la jolie vue sur les pagodes (les plus belles à mon goût). Prendre son petit déjeuner (très bon et bien garni) sur le toit avec cette vue à été des plus agréables (oui, c’est vrai qu’ils ont pas fini de l’aménager mais ça n’enlève rien au charme du lieu). Le personnel est au petit soin et feront tout pour vous trouver quelque chose de chouette à faire sur la capitale. Ils vous commandent les taxis pour vous déplacer partout, et parlent anglais. Le prix de la chambre était correct et J’ai pris une chambre sans fenêtre car moins chère (claustrophobes s’abstenir!). L’hôtel est très bien placé à Rangoun. Rien a dire. Séjour agréable.

Shwedagon in der Nähe
Hotel ist nähe der Shwedagon Pagoda. Also zu Fuß bestens erreichbar. Die Zimmer haben keine Fenster, die Umgebung ist nicht die schönste. Dachterrasse bietet schönen Blick auf die Pagode, könnte aber ein bisschen Renovierungen erhalten. Alles in allem völlig in Ordnung wenn man nur Übernachtet.

Disappointing stay
There was no hot water and they did not tell us at the check in. We complained and after many calls we have been given with a $8 discount (which is nothing compared to the price paid for the room). The sheets were dirty, probably someone slept there and they didn’t change them. Breakfast disappointing. It’s not a 4-star hotel.

どこをどうしたら4つ星ホテルという評価になったのだろうか？ただの三流ビジネスホテル。全てが期待はずれ。 ドアを開けずに喋っているドアマン。 訛りが酷く早口のレセプション。当然笑顔は無い。 毎日変えられないシーツ。 朝食を食べている隣でカーっペッとタンを吐き出すウェイター。そして朝食のビュッフェを手でつまんで食べながら仕事をしていた。せめて隠れて食べろ。 あげはじめたらキリがない。 ただひとつ良い所は、シェダゴンパゴダに徒歩で行けるだけが取り柄のホテル。

室内に蚊がいて咬まれました。 ミャンマーでは、蚊の退治は殺虫剤が一般的な様です。 電子蚊取り機等あればよかったのですが、 部屋中殺虫剤を撒かれました。 悪気はなかったのでしょうが、、、、 仕方ないのかもしれません。
