Very comfortable beds, nice and quiet even when the location is at a very crowded restaurant street. It is also good to have almost everything just around the corner. Be aware of all the steps both outside and inside the hotel, no elevator. Not so easy to get info about the key when we had a late arrival and also very poor breakfast the first morning since they did not know we booked with breakfast at all. Very confusing for me and my daughter. In all a quite good little hotel with just a few rooms.

A lovely small hotel in a central location. The welcome and local advice given was much appreciated by us, as was accessing the room early. It is hardly possible to get a better location in Palermo although there was some street noise on a Saturday night. The bedroom and bathroom had plenty of space and we loved the cute decor touches. A filling breakfast was supplied with local pastries. We would stay here again.

We had a terrible experience. We were given a room knowingly that central AC does not work in that room. We had to sleep first night in 90 degree heat. When asked to fix the AC we were told it was working fine for last guests but we were immediately asked to use the fan in the closet as if they knew. We had to fight to get our room changed next day as at first they told us there is no room available. Second room had a separate split AC unit and NO FAN in the closet :( It happens that sometimes things break but this whole incident seemed more forced on us. We are sure there are other rooms like this as their central AC does not work. Did not get any credit for the first night from host or hotels.com.

Amazing base to explore the city from.
Dimora Bellini is a lovely place to stay right in the middle of the city. The location is wonderful for getting to a lot of the tourist sites in Palermo and also for those off the beaten track. The location also meant it was possible to make multiple expeditions in a day and return to the hotel with shopping or just to refresh from the city heat. This means you have the associated sounds of a busy market street and traffic till late in the night. The staff are very helpful, giving time to help plan my days and giving directions which was very much appreciated as I am not an Italian speaker. This made me able to use my time in the city better. Staff were also reachable on the phone and were able to provide luggage storage after checking out. The breakfast was always filling and delicious with a menu to choose from daily. One can eat in the shared area or your room which all beats getting misunderstood by the local restaurant staff. Room service was good with fresh towels and toiletries provided regularly.

Apartamento reformado com bela decoração
As instalações são novas e o apartamento em boas condições, embora o quarto q ficamos fosse bem apertado. O chuveiro não esquentava ou quando esquentava logo esfriava. Tivemos problemas no check in, pois não havia ninguém para abrir a porta da rua quando chegamos e ficamos uns 40 minutos na calçada com as malas até um hóspede chegar e podermos entrar. Não conseguimos contato com a pessoa responsável que veio responder minhas mensagens 3 horas depois. Outro inconveniente para quem vai de carro é que embora fale na descrição da propriedade “estacionamento disponível”, na realidade trata-se de um estacionamento público situado a umas quatro quadras do apartamento. Ou seja, tem q ir com as malas pelas ruas. Como a maioria desses apartamentos nos centros históricos terá que subir uma escadaria com as malas, pois não possuem elevador. O café da manhã era bom. Apesar do problema do check in, o restante do atendimento foi cordial.
