My experience lacked, but I don’t think my experience is the norm, as most people who stay book a room. I stayed in a bamboo hut in the courtyard. Do not do that! Any who wish to reserve one of the bamboo huts in the courtyard should be warned that the courtyard bar blasts loud, annoying, electronic dance music until midnight from speakers that are just 5 yards/meters from your bed. Additionally, as the walls of the thin, bamboo huts are woven mats of leaves, you will hear all other night noise: pool/billiards from just a few meters/yards away, conversations, patron shenanigans, every conversation, people in the “room” next to you, roosters at 4-5am, dogs barking, as well as cigarette smoke and burning rubbish smoke all permeating your hut walls. Then, about 6am the open air kitchen, that is again, just feet from your porous bamboo hut walls will start buzzing with kitchen noise of about a dozen chatty people and their kids cooking, eating and cavorting away (and I was told there was no food available). So, if you want sleep and rest book a real room, not a bamboo hut in their courtyard. After all, the treatment and looks you get when asking questions or trying to get them to do something, like turn down the music volume will be unpleasant, as well.
Additionally, the lone shower stall smelled strongly of urine and was littered with debris - and copious amounts of sand. No hot water. Of the two toilets neither have paper.
