If you're looking for an authentic German Gasthaus with a homey feel to it, this is it. Everything from the way check in is done to the sweet ladies who make the breakfast with total love, this place is a gem. Only a 4-5 minute drive to the Rhine river for breathtaking views, free wine tasting onsite and amazing food. Don't pass this place up!

We had the best German breakfast at this place during our two-week long trip in Germany. The guesthouse is adapted from an old wine cellar place with interesting architecture. It's located in the beautiful Rhine valley. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Owner/manager is such a nice gentleman and he greeted me with warm handshake. We highly recommend this place!

A really quiet setting with plenty of outside seating areas scattered around. The food was very good and the breakfast surpassed anything we've had in Germany before. The staff were all helpful, friendly, extremely hardworking and focussed - if there was a fault at all, it would be that at times there didn't seem enough of them. We have every intention of returning for a longer stay.

Nice vineyard hotel near the river Rhine
Nice vineyard hotel with the vineyard theme carried through to the whole interior. The spacious rooms are classic styled and in a good state. Everything is very clean. A refrigerator and a fan would be a nice addition though, especially in a warm period. Restaurant with terrace, menu offers good traditional dishes. Breakfast is excellent with homemade products. Hotel is located near forest and farmlands and well suited for a walk where you can spot birds and deer.

Fint hotell med nära till det mesta i Rehndalen. Stort och fräscht rum, fin restaurang med bra meny och goda viner. Frukosten var +++++ Återkommer gärna 👍

De ontvangst was op zijn zachtst gezegd bijzonder. De eigenaar (?) stond al met de sleutel in de hand bij de deur, maar die was blijkbaar voor iemand anders. Nadat die verwarring was opgelost duwde hij ons de juiste sleutel in de hand, geen woord van welkom of uitleg over ontbijt, wifi, nachtingang etc. Het ontbijt was heel goed: erg veel keuze voor zowel hartige hapjes als zoetigheden, maar ook versgebakken eieren (geen poeder om roerei mee te maken). De vrolijke eigenaresse (?) deed erg haar best om iedereen van dienst te zijn en benadrukte dat alles die ochtend vers gebakken was. Ook het avondeten was prima, al was het systeem om de rekening op te maken wat onhandig (losse briefjes, die ‘s ochtends op een stapeltje lagen). Goed zelf opletten bij betaling als je het op rekening van de kamer laat zetten. Het was erg druk in het restaurant, misschien was er te weinig personeel was om alles goed te laten verlopen (slechts twee personen in de bediening, voor drie of mogelijk vier verschillende ruimtes). Wij verbleven hier twee nachten en gingen ervan uit dat de kamer de tweede dag schoongemaakt zou worden zoals gebruikelijk in een hotel. Helaas was dit niet het geval. Wel: een ruime kamer met een balkon, een aparte tv-hoek met bank en goede bedden. Rustige ligging, niet direct aan de Rijn, maar als je met eigen vervoer bent zijn de highlights van het gebied (Lorelei, Rüdesheim,Koblenz, verschillende kastelen) snel bereikbaar.
