Basic room, not an apartment. Far from centre
The staff were lovely here and accommodated the issues I had whilst staying 1 night. I emailed in advance saying I wanted to check in early and my room was made priority to clean first so this could happen.
However I left 2 nights early after a large cockroach in the room.
The beds were comfortable. The apartment was very basic. Fridge/microwave/kettle but no cutlery or crockery to use. There was clearly a leak at the kitchen sink and foul smell after opening this empty cupboard.
The bathroom let the room down further. Although clean, I didn’t want to use the shower funks after looking at the floor.
The staff here could work in 5 star hotels, but don’t be fooled by any mention of ‘luxury deal’: I didn’t see any rooms/decor or hint of this place offering anything upmarket. It’s a budget lodge in the hills with no frills.
