Hotel Review: Basic Loft Lodging Outside Paris
I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was exactly what we needed: a clean, no-frills place to sleep. The accommodations were simple but met our expectations, and the friendly staff at the front desk made the stay pleasant from the start.
BASIC Loft Lodging for two people, it could sleep three. There was a small bunk above the main bed, which would be ideal for a child or someone nimble. While the beds weren’t exceptionally plush, they were comfortable enough for a good night’s rest.
Bathroom:
The bathroom, like the room, was tiny but clean. I brought my own cleaning supplies to touch up, I was impressed with how well they maintained it. The water pressure was excellent, which is always a plus. However, I recommend bringing your own soap and shampoo, as the shower only had an all-in-one dispenser, and there was no lotion provided. The towels were quite thin, so if you prefer thicker ones, you might want to bring your own. We chose not to have the daily cleaning service as we're late sleepers and wanted privacy, but they were accommodating in providing fresh towels upon request.
Cleanliness:
Overall, the cleanliness was good throughout our stay. However, I woke up to long line of ants on the last night after I accidentally dropped a crumb, which was a bit of a downside.
Cons:
- No ice available on-site.
- You have to put down a deposit for an iron or blow dryer.
- There are no electrical outlet
