Hard pass if you're looking for a smoke free environment. Entry doors are kept wide open and staff stand in them smoking 24/7. Obviously, it infiltrates the entire place. Definitely not a customer service oriented facility.

3D2n in Beethoven hotel
The stay is ok. Just that the air conditioning seems to have some issue. It blows out hot air instead of cool air. Also, tv screen is distorted. We call the reception to fix it. The tv was fixed but not the air conditioning. They told us outside is cold, therefore it is hot air. But we wanted the room to be cooling not sunna. After some try to communicate with them, they managed to have cool air for us. It seems the air conditioning is centralised control.

No sleep
The stay was ok, the hotel is very central to the city and u can come around easily. The bed was not very comfortable at all unfortunately. I’m pregnant and did not get a good night sleep. At night they have live music at the hotel so if u can’t sleep with background noise before midnight u should not stay here. The spa was mediocre.

I have rated the hotel 2 stars just because of the clean room & good location , otherwise we were not given our original booked deluxe room and they lied to us on the first night ( night staff) as they suppose to give us the original room the next night then said sorry we are fully booked , the an suite was leaking , The Wi Fi was poor , the pool was really like a big jacuzzi & we told to be quite as it was same as the message area !!!! Never again

I stayed for more than 10 days in this small hotel. I really liked its location as you are near the main tourist attractions in Istanbul. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. Besides that, my bedroom was always clean and the WiFi speed works perfectly. The strange thing is that the air conditioner wasn't cooling properly at nights and they didn't solve this technical issue. Also, the breakfast buffet was not varied. Sadly, they do not have chocolate milk nor orange juice, just lemon juice which tastes bad...

End of March 2018 - We had a great stay in Istanbul Beethoven Hotel. It is an old building but well renovated which creates a very middle eastern ambient. It is located in a very central area within walking distance to Sultan Ahmet area, bazars, mosques, city tour bus stop, etc. Reasonable price.
