Out of the way and off the grid property. The road in and out is single lane, be prepared to back out if need be. Lots of twists and turns, if you’re one to get car sick be prepared. But once there it’s a quaint, quiet studio like place with nice little deck to sit on and enjoy the tranquility of the area. No cell, no web service. Just you and your partner, or as it was me and my girl.

We loved cooking all meals on the grill, the trout stream that runs through the property and the beauty of the place! Be prepared for biting bugs if they are attracted to you! I did come home with my arms and legs covered in them. I used bug repellent but after taking a shower and going back out on the porch… they got me good. Overall this is a gem!

Owl's Perch is a perfect getaway for singles or couples seeking solitude from civilization. It's located in a remote (but populated) area. The place is small, but has every necessary creature comfort. We especially enjoyed the cleanliness of our little home. We spent much of our time on the deck enjoying the stream.
