This was weird, I had already submitted my review and they’re asking for it again. My experience was rather pleasant. This place is literally a little bit in the middle of …..nowhere, you will definitely need your own vehicle to get around, it is near the vineyards but then again away from the vineyards. The location of the site is secluded. But the property itself is actually surprisingly pleasant, it’s secured, small, quaint, isolated. There is a gentleman on the property whose name is Abel, very helpful and informative. Be aware that if you are there for a nightly event, I. E. Wedding, graduation, night party. You will have to arrive the latest at 12:30AM to the property otherwise you will be charged $25 for the gate fee. Come to find out it was $25 per hour. So if you arrive at four in the morning then you’re out $100, the unit has every basic necessity except for a stove. They have a nice walking path, not sure if it’s pet friendly but there is great space for your dog to run freely. Definitely worth it if you’re just spending the night, be aware it’s almost a ranch, accompanied by the sun you will get a whole flock of roosters welcoming the mornings. PS there is AC available.

This is a great place for a romantic get away, friendly and accommodating. There is not much in the way of amenities but there is so much near by nothing to miss with the right company. Quaint and sweet, an excellent place to get away from it all with that special someone

Misrepresentation. It’s a rundown mobile home next to a chicken farm almost impossible to find on a really bad dirt road. Room choice for a two bedroom turns out to be one bed and you could pay extra for the second bedroom. Glade advertising. Worst stay ever. Had to drive away

Understated Excellence...
Very comfortable with a cozy feel of far away yet close enough to rural ejidos for food, drink and sundries. Hospitality A Plus, much personal care reflects in this great little hideaway. We will definitely return and do highly recommend VinoPhiliac in the Guadalupe Valley. Thanks again, Ann..!

Do NOT stay here!!! It is not what is looks like!!
It took us two hours to find VinoPhilliac. There were no signs to give us directions. The streets did not have names. The road to VinoPhilliac is a dirt road and should probably not be driven without a 4 wheel drive. When we arrived, Ann Katz welcomed us. When we told her how difficult it was to find her B&B, she said she had a map of the area which she would sell us for $3.00. We were already spending over $250 a night for one room which had no hot water the two nights we stayed there. Our heat, and it was very cold both nights was a heater with a propane tank which we did not dare to keep on during the night. We woke up in the morning and had no hot water!! The bathroom had a toilet and shower (with no hot water). There was no sink or mirror or towels in the bathroom. The walls of the bathroom did not go all the way to the ceiling and the door did not close all the way. There was absolutely NO privacy in the bathroom. The room was advertised for 4 people. When we arrived, because there were 3 of us, Ann told us she would have to charge us more. I am 70 years old and my daughter is 33 and her fiancé is 36. We were there looking for a wedding venue. We were not loud or throwing wild parties. I find it ridiculous that this woman would charge another $100 for me when the room was advertised to hold 4 people. I am furious and feel like I was completely ripped off by Ann Katz and Hotels.com. I would absolutely NEVER recommend VinoPhilliac to anyone.

Perfect Couple Getaway
Ann, Scott and Abel were all the best hosts you could ever want in the Valle de Guadalupe. Helped us out with directions, recommendations on vineyards, restaurants and more. The Cabernet house was perfect for us, warm shower, bottled water, propane heater, and puppies to greet you. Fresh fruit and yogurt with breakfast was great. (And the complimentary wine) Highly enjoyed our visit and recommend it for everyone - especially those that like getting off the beaten path!

Great little jewel in the middle of Valle
This B&B it's just perfect. Ann, the owner, is so great. She will do everything in her hands to make your trip a good experience. She gave us excellent recommendations of what to do and where to go. She got us a reservation for Malva, a great great restaurant. Now, speaking of the room: It was the most comfortable bed in the world! so soft! the room is spacious and with good lighting. In the one we were, there was a sink, a microwave, coffee maker, a small fridge and they provide 2 light robes. The room decoration is cute and when the morning light come through the orange curtains, the room gets this beautiful color but the light won't wake you up at all. The environment is really quiet. They have 3 adorable dogs in the ranch and they are so friendly. They won't do any noise at all, so don't worry about them; they won't bark in the middle of the night or anything like that. Actually, if you go for a walk, they will go with you and kind of show you the way through the ranch. We got a basket with our breakfast that included bananas, oranges, grapefruit, local pastries, plain yogurt with berries on the top, and 2 dark chocolates. I would definitely go back!

Great location in the center of wine country and minutes away from Corazon de Tierra. Tranquil and cozy. Great amenities , especially the coffee and freshly baked carrot cake , scones and fresh fruit for breakfast. A bit tricky to reach so don't rely on Google Maps but do follow PDF directions provided. Proprietor is a wealth of knowledge on the area and vineyards. She was also very helpful in securing reservations for us at Corazon de Tierra.

1 year Anniversary Stay
I'll have to be honest, when we first arrived, we were very upset and not happy. We were expecting something very different. It also took us a while to find the place because the directions are not clear. This place is in the mountains and you can get lost fairly quickly. The B&B is on the owner's property and there are 3 cabins. The inside of the cabins are very clean and her decor is beautiful. The bed is comfortable and we were definitely able to relax. If you are looking for a resort style stay, this is not the place. Ann does not have any TV's in the rooms. This place is meant for relaxing and spending quality time with your family. After we got settled, we ended up coming around and enjoyed the rest of our stay. She has great recommendations for food and places to see. Her fresh fruit from her garden, local breads, and yogurts were a perfect starter.

Amazing Paradise in Valle de guadalupe
This place is a little slice of heaven in Baja's wine country! A must stay! The owner, Ann, is a wonderful host and person, and is available for recommendations, assistance getting around the Valle, and great conversation. My sister and I had a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful stay here, and we even got to try some of Vino Philiac's wines and they were delicious! This is the perfect place to stay as it's close to all of the wineries and eateries and is also very private and serene. We know that we will be going back asap! Thank you Ann!

Quaint two-suite bed-and-breakfast
Vinophiliac is a relatively new two-suite BnB in Valle de Guadalupe. It's quite a bit off the main road, so you'll navigate dirt roads to get there. The rooms are homey and comfortable, and Ann is very nice and ready to help make suggestions and reservations to make your stay in Valle fantastic. Places to stay in the Valle are getting more and more expensive, and Vinophiliac is no exception. It has a nice view of the property and a continental breakfast (fruit, yoghurt, and breads/carrot cake). Note that other places to stay in the area include more amenities.

Quaint and Well Located
We had a wonderful stay at Vinophiliac and will be coming back. It is located perfectly in the heart of the valley, down a private road just a short walk/drive to a great winery and food truck area. The house is located on her property and it is easy to get in and out. Inside, it is quaint and charming. Nice to have a little kitchenette and refrigerator to keep this cold if you want. There is a nice deck to sit on and enjoy the desert landscape. Everything is clean, works well and you feel like you are in a relaxing environment. Ann is very welcoming and leaves you be.
