The hotel was aesthetically pleasing, and the staff was kind. While my stay wasn't exceptional, it wasn't a bad experience either. The location was fantastic, with many shopping options, restaurants, bars, and convenience stores nearby. Our room was nice, and housekeeping cleaned every day, which has become rare since COVID. The rooftop offered a beautiful view, and I loved that the pool was heated at night.
However, there were several downsides. The lobby and elevators were uncomfortably hot, and the hotel really needs to address this. Although our room was nice, it faced an old grass wall, and the bed pillows were extremely hard. The food quality was lacking, except for the Asian restaurant. The all-inclusive system was inconvenient, requiring us to sit down and order each dish, which took a long time. They only offered one buffet-style meal (breakfast), which I found odd. There were no vegan options and absolutely no options for guests who don't eat pork, so my husband struggled with that all week. Additionally, there was no room service, which was disappointing, and I often felt unsatisfied. Every drink I ordered was not good, and many bartenders did not fully understand English, so I had to go elsewhere for a drink, which was a bummer. While the rooftop was nice, it only had one pool and two warm jacuzzis, leading to overcrowding.
Overall, there were some positive aspects of the stay, but several areas need improvements. I would only stay here again if improved.
