Uninformed change of venue
We arrived at the given address and wasn’t able to find it. We rang the provided number and was informed that there was work going on in the room booked and we were to go to another address. On arrival the member of staff claimed he had called me earlier to inform me of the change. I didn’t receive any such information. The accommodation was fine if slightly tatty but we enjoyed our stay. However we should have been given the choice weeks previously whether to accept the changes and not been put through the stress of not knowing what was going on. My feeling was that they overbooked. Potential bookers, be aware that this is likely to happen again..... It’s unfair not to get exactly what you paid for.

I had a great experience at Relais Incantesimo Vaticano. The hotel is steps away from St Peter's, at the heart of the city, and close to local markets. The breakfast was great. The staff was professional and excellent all around. Everything went extremely smoothly. The room was just perfect: professionally decorated, spotless, and well-equipped with a great ensuite bathroom. I highly recommend this place. A++++++

Hotel review
Location: Finding this hotel was easy enough but it is in a gated apartment complex. You need access through the first gate and then the doors to the actual building. Per the instructions, I gave advance notice of my arrival time (requested was 1 hour advance notice, I provided 1.5 hours). I called and messaged when I arrived and could not get in touch with anyone to let me in. After standing at the first gate long enough, I was able to get in by following someone going in. Then, I followed suit with the locked door of the building by following someone coming out. Eventually, I made it to the outside of the door of the hotel and proceeded to ring the doorbell/knock. I continued to call and no one picked up. Finally, someone picked up and said they would be there in 15 minutes. It was a big nuisance just to check in! Amenities: The hotel indicates offsite parking available. I asked no less than 4 times for the address of the parking garage prior to my arrival. I never received the address until I was able to check in. There was a fridge stocked with water (natural and sparkling). You could help yourself. Noise: The walls are thin and you can hear sounds from the outside quite easily.

Great place if you are willing to pay double!
The hotel itself is great. However the person maning the desk, although very nice, charged us twice for our stay. And it didn't get resolved. They didn't speak English so communication was difficult...I totally understand that. However, they were not familiar with Hotels.com, and would not believe we paid through them. They a;alsohad no idea how to access that information!

Perfect stay
Fabulous guest house in great location. Just out of the main busy area but close enough to walk in. Close to Vatican City and the river. Would definitely stay there again. The only thing I would say is that if you don't like noise of traffic then maybe not for you. Didn't bother us though.

Very comfortable room in an easily accessible area. Lots of shops around and within 10 minutes walk of Metro (Ottaviano) and the Vatican. Lovely and quiet at night. Great wifi and a bonus to have a kettle with tea / coffee (but no milk). Breakfast of juice, coffee and pastry available from bar downstairs. Great dinner suggestions too.

Hübsche Zimmer in der Nähe zur Metro und Vatikan
Schöne Zimmer in der Nähe zum Vatikan, der in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Die Metro Station liegt um die nächste Straßenkreuzung. Für das Frühstück (besteht aus einen süßen Teilchen, Cappuccino und Saft) bekommt man einen Voucher. Einzulösen ist der beim Cafė im nächsten Haus. Würde die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen

Nuestra estancia estuvo comoda y justamente lo que estabamos buscando - un hotel confiable, bien ubicado. Estabamos a 2 cuadras del Metro (Ottaviano), a 1 Km de distancia de la Plaza San Pedro. En cuanto al servicio, el personal fue amigable y tipicamente nuestra habitación estaba limpia. El desayuno estaba rico, no habia muchas opciones, sin embargo lo que nos servian estaba muy rico. En general recomendamos este hotel si estas buscando un hotel confinable, comodo y cerca del Vaticano.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt
Wir waren im August in relais incantesimo vaticano. Habe es auf gund der Bewertungen gebucht und waren super zufrieden. Die Wohnung liegt keine 5 min vom petersplatz entfernt. Alles ist zu Fuss perfekt zu erreichen. Und obwohl die Wohnung an einer viel befahrenen strasse liegt ist es ruhig. Ich kann es wirklich empfehlen. Die Bilder der Zimmer sind nicht bearbeitet. Eine wirklich moderne und sehr saubere Wohnung.

Confort a 5 stelle
La location è veramente un incanto . L'accoglienza è perfetta e molto attenta e ti senti subito coccolato. Tutto è perfettamente ristrutturato con molto stile. Le stanze sono molto silenziose e i letti veramente confortevoli. Vicino c'è un garage convenzionato (ma avvisate prima di arrivare) se non siete in macchina a piedi potete arrivare in centro in 30 minuti e al vaticano in 10 . La zona è molto tranquilla e gradevole. La colazione è compresa al bar vicino : perfetta!
