We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sheen Falls. Our family was midway through the loop around Ireland, and looking to catch our breath while we explored the Ring of Kerry area. The cottage was really great for this. There are about 16 cottages, each occupying two floors. It is VERY QUIET. The units are wonderfully appointed and supplied. We felt like we were back at a US/MEX timeshare property (in the best way possible). There is a ton of parking, and also a central children's play area. TV and WiFi worked fine. The unit was hot, which was counterbalanced by opening windows. I do wonder if it gets too hot in July/August, but not for us to say. Kenmare is very, very cute, and Kilarney is not too far, either. This was a great jumping off spot for the Ring of Kerry. We highly recommend this property.
Please note that, if arriving by car using GoogleMaps, you will have trouble. First, the address plots closer to Sheen Falls Lodge, which is a different entity. You want to be 150 meters further east, and on the south side of the road (not the north). Second, if coming from the east (Cork, etc), do not turn at Roughty Bridge (before (east) of town). The bridge is incredibly narrow. Go through Kenmare and turn south on N71. Cross the lake on N71 and then follow the guidance from there.
