We come to Madrid quite a lot and always book this hotel. We truly feel like we’re home, it is right in plaza España and a walk away from gran via. If you’d like it is also walkable to other parts of town like Salamanca and el Prado (if you don’t mind walking long distances). The staff is quite lovely, we couldn’t love this place more!

Stolen item
The hotel is perfect situated and everything is very elegant. Most of the staff are helpful and serviceminded. Nevertheless we had a very bad experience. A newly bought makeup item was removed from our room. It was unpacked and still in the bag. The staff at the reception more or less told us that we just could not find it. No apology or compensation. It never showed up. We are very disappointed regarding this very arrogant behaviour.
