My first hostel experience was totally positive. Great venue, very well run and a great facility to meet fellow travellers. Will be returning here next time I stop over in Austin.

Great hostel for meeting and partying with others from all over. Howie was super helpful at every juncture. Just be ready for some noise on weekends up to 2am as hostel is located right above a speakeasy.

Prime place
Really the only option, prime location in the center. By all the nightlife and restaurants. Walkable to the university and capital. Easy 15 min bus to parks. Great WiFi, comfy beds although the pillow is flat. Bathrooms fine. Kitchen was hangout area and it had the basics. Staff was good.
