We had one night to stay in Sendai, and Hotel Vista was perfectly adequate to spend it there. Our room was Japanese-tiny, but the bathroom had a much-bigger-than-usual bathtub. Of course everything is clean, and the staff at the lobby was exceptionally nice. The wifi was fast, and they had a laundry room. I felt that the breakfast wasn’t worth the price: there are much better places to eat at at Sendai station. The good thing is that the station is very close, only a few minutes of walk from the hotel, so you can find pretty much anything in a small time.

The location is very quiet surrounding with commercial buildings, educational institutes. Can't find any supermarket, just convenient stores. Most likely, you need to walk over the other side of the JR station to do everything.
