We had a wonderful stay at Complutum Hostel! So artsy and cool just like in the photos. Its in steps away from historic sites and literally across the street from a gorgeous old spanish court adorned with lush gardens. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The cafe serves delicious food. The a la carte breakfast at the cafe was wonderful! Fresh squeezed orange juice, quiche and baked goods. YES they squeezed the juice right in front of us! Cool little gathering room filled with tables and books where ppl meet for drinks, a quick bite or live music! Thanks Complutum for a wonderful stay! Gracias!!

Complutum Hostel
We stayed here as an accident thinking it was actually in Madrid so we were a bit surprised to find out how far from the city it actually was. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised about how beautiful the area was! The only thing I didn't like about the room was how narrow the space was between beds, it made it a little difficult to get around when everyone has their bags out getting ready in the morning. Also the wifi doesn't work very well which made it hard for us to book transportation and places to stay for later on in our trip.

El aire acondicionado no funcionaba bien en pleno mes de julio con temperaturas cercanas a los 40 grados. Era imposible ajustar la temperatura y aun apagado (o al menos eso decía el personal) hacia un ruido que duró los 4 días de mi estancia (día y noche). El personal no estuvo muy acertado para solucionar el problema e insistían en que el aire funcionaba bien dándome explicaciones contradictorias. Además, el desagüe de la ducha no funcionaba bien y acumulaba mucha agua y tardaba mucho en vaciarse. El aspecto de la ducha era desagradable. Lo bueno del hotel es la situación y el programa de préstamo de libros.

The description to the room that we book, there wasn't the reality. The room Was very narrow, without towells and any space to move. The washands Was inside the room instead inside the bath. Hemos pagado 100 € para una habitación miniatura sin TV, sin toallas ni shampoo ni jabón de manos, sin mesa o silla y no llegaba ni la señal wifi. Encima había moho, la ducha estaba muy sucia y mi lámpara en la cama rota. Tuvimos que esperar a que nos atiendan para todo porque solo había un trabajador que iba al baño o estaba limpiando el cuarto de televisión etc.
