We had a great stay at La Ramona. It’s was as described in the property description. The owners and staff were all very kind and the breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately they had construction going on while we were there in November which lead to early morning wake ups due to the noise.

Our room was infested with black ants that were coming thru the space between the glass and wall. Tried to get another hotel that night but all was booked elsewhere. The room was dated. Best part of the stay was the breakfast. Sorry, we won’t be back.

Staying at la Romana Charming was an excellent choice, great location, the staffs were great,the service was excellent ( it was my sister’s bday they left a cake with candle for her) I had a very good breakfast , very personalized to your taste The room was nice. The pool was a treat ,warm and clean.I will definitely highly recommend this hotel .

Love this charming boutique hotel. Perfect walking distance to the beach and downtown. We stayed in the romantic orange room with the outdoor tub. Perfect getaway for a couple. Pavel made us breakfast every day. Pool was a nice way to relax and cool off on the hot days.

I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel! Talk about charming. It is so quaint and warm, very comfortable beds and we loved our outdoor shower and tub. The breakfast included was some of the best we had in Costa Rica and you feel very much taken care of here. The owner and his family were so kind and helpful, we will most certainly be back. Paul, the owner is so nice and accommodating. Property is very quiet and small (only 5 villas). Very comfortable bed and clean all around. It is only about a 7 minute walk before we start seeing restaurants/bars and its about a 15 minute walk to the beach.
