This is probably the longest review I’ve ever written because there’s so much to talk about, so here it goes:
We arrived a Saturday in the morning to the hotel. Regardless of the fact that we didn’t arrive at the usual standard global check-in time which is 2:00pm, (we arrived at around 9am) - we were given a room immediately.
From the start, everything was great in every way. They gave us a high room witha spectacular view of the rived in the 3rd flood, and the room itself was simply stunning. Of course there were some minor details in few places that were out of place, and cleanliness couldbe improved very slightly - but we were happy with the accomodations themselves.
In terms of the overall experience - we were quite happy. The staff might be a bit difficult to understand sometimes because their English is not perfect, but it’s still way above the rest of Bangkok and Thailand; and they always do everything in their power to help out with anything and everything. They truly, really care for you, and they’re super attentive and nice. Once they realized we usually left for tours early in the mornings, they started packing us coffee and sandwiches for us to take on our tours (as breakfast starts at 7:30), because we always left around 6:00am so we never had time to try their breakfast - until the very last day. I had a Sweet Pork Belly soup and my partner a classic Western Breakfast: the foor was AMAZING! We were so bummed we missed almost all breakfasts!
