One word…”Flawless” This hotel is absolutely amazing! Large room, hot showers, excellent breakfast and the restaurant has room service. Checking in was as easy as checking out. Personally I won’t stay at any other hotel. If there’s a room available and I’m in the country this hotel is where I’m staying. Special thanks to Oscar Llamos! Oscar was always friendly and did everything to accommodate me and my guest. To all planning trips to Barranquilla….if you don’t stay here you’re doing yourself a disservice.

My stay at Hotel Dorado was a pleasant one because of two staff members. We were very pleased with Carlos (Server/waiter). He went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay. He treated us like family and it was because of him that we returned again to stay at Hotel Dorado. We came back on two different occasions during a two week period at our stay in Barranquilla, Colombia. Also there was a young gentleman who worked the front desk who helped us book our second stay with ease. These two staff members made our visit an enjoyable one. I recently had surgery and I would recommend this hotel because of how they treat their guests. I hope management is able to praise these two amazing staff members because they are the reasons why guests return and give good reviews. Thank you gentleman for your kindness during my medical procedure.

The first two nights I was given a room where the bathroom light kept going off,the bathroom wasn't draining,the were holes in the bathroom shower wall,no drapes and the TV didn't work! I made a least seven calls for the lights and after the second night they finally gave me a proper room.No discount and promises of make up to me didn't become reality.Very disappointed ☹️

So this review is for my aunt I do all her bookings. Let’s start with the hotel and rooms are nice and overall clean. She stood at this hotel 9/2-9/8 And they stole her AirPods from her room this is what happen during her stay; Tuesday 9/5 Last time I used them @ 11am I left 12:20pm back at night They cleaned the room usually around 3pm We went on a outing and was told it’s best to leave our belongs behind. The phone and AirPods were moved to another area of the room. When I got back and went to use the AirPods they were missing out the case. The next day after letting the front desk know about the missing AirPods this is what happen in my room No toilet paper Didn’t fix the bed But they arrange all our stuff grouping the same items together glasses, perfume, liquor, water all lined up together very weird. Front desk Ochoa & Lima when I spoke with them they kept giving me the run around including Monsalvo the Manager and Almanzo is the housekeeping manager.
