Great base for exploring
The hotel was a great base for exploring the local sights. 20 mins to central Naples, 50 mins to Sorrento and 5 mins from Herculaneum. The hotel is pretty basic, but always clean and smells great and the service was brilliant and breakfast plentiful. My one bugbear which wasn’t clear on the listing is that the pool is both saltwater and if you want a sunbed it is payable. Having said that the reception staff comped these as we only went down to the pool later in the day.

The hotel was a great escape from the real world. The room and amenities were what I expected and the staff was friendly. The only item to beware of is that the hotel is situated outside of Naples and public transport can be tricky to get there and taxis were outrageously expensive so plan accordingly.
