It was nice stay in a quiet locality. Location is great with nearby tram station and Dirk supermarket at short distance. Had a little glitch on day 1 at checkin which was quickly resolved by the guest manager. Staff was very helpful and courteous. The rooms are great. Lots of storage and really clean. The kitchen is nice. The fold out couch is not that comfortable as the bed has springs, so you need to use the blanket as a topper. There isn’t much around this location so stock up on supplies before you get there

Great place, not great service
I tried to pay for a late checkout and it wasnt offered at all. They said if not out before 12 pm (noon) that there would be a late checkout fee. I got down at 11:59. They charged me 40 euro as a late fee. They had no where for me to throw away my pizza box when i had it with me in the restaurant up top and said i needed to take it with me and find somewhere else to throw it.

Great hotel to base out of for trip to Amsterdam
This was a wonderful choice for our stay in Amsterdam. The hotel is about 20 minutes outside the central area of Amsterdam, but public transportation was very close and easy to use. Many hotels in the central city were over priced and small looking. This room was large and with kitchen. The front desk staff were very helpful (and even left a little Birthday welcome gift in the room on check-in!) The hotel restaurant was very good and affordable. Our next trip to Amsterdam, we will look to book this hotel again.
