Great Place to start exploring Modena
Very well located, walking distance to the old town. The room is a decent size which was great. Surprisingly the bed was very very comfortable. Also the bathroom is a good size. Easy to check in and checks out. Overall was a good experience would not hesitate to stay here again .

Very clean, well located to Modena Centro but easy to reach by car with on street free parking. Arrival is entirely independent as a receptionist is present only from 8-1pm but all necessary information is provided and welcoming email includes all the codes for front door, room key and parking access. No elevator.

Best Location and hotel during my trip. THe room super beautiful, Cozy and excellent location to visit Modena. In the morning the lady in the reception was super friendly. If I came back to Modena, for sure I will come back again.

Comfortable Apartment in City Center.
The apartment was conveniently located with ample free parking and a few minute walk to the city center. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the AC very strong. Our host was very accommodating and it was a great value.

Was told by the site the room was on the 2nd floor. It was on the 3rd floor. tv remote needed batteries. Couch bed was damp when we arrived. No english tv stations.

The hotel is small but cozy. The biggest problem was the neighborhood which looks nice enough but there are some seedy characters that travel, usually by bike or scooter, that you need to watch out for. We learned that the hard way as we came down to our rented car after the first night to find it had been broken into! We had 2 busted windows and a lot of headaches and financial burdens! Hotel, of course, is not responsible.

I stayed for five nights in May 2024. My room was large and clean and had all the amenities I needed. The location is wonderful - just a 5 minute walk to the center. I didn’t see the staff very often because it was mostly unstaffed, but when I did they were friendly and helpful. A few opportunities for improvements: My room was very humid. Being on the first floor, I didn’t want the windows open all the time so people could see in. I did a load of washing my first day there and after three days it still was not dry and it was hard to sleep due to the humidity. I asked twice and finally the air was turned on. My shower head leaked over the top of the shower door, which meant my bathroom was all wet after showering. There are safety boxes where you can leave your key, which I did because the keychain is very large and heavy. On my last day the code to my box was no longer working and I was locked out. After about 20 minutes I found a housekeeper upstairs and I was able to get into my room. I recommend taking off the keychain and bringing the key with you to avoid being locked out.

This listing was very misleading as I thought I was booking a hotel. No one greeted us, in fact there was no one working at all. Not only was it self check in with a lock box, but we received a parking pass that included a warning on how unsafe the theft was in the area, we didn’t feel safe parking there. The room was up on the fifth floor with no elevator and so many flights of stairs. The room was decent but didn’t look entirely like the pictures, it felt more like a dorm room. We were so disappointed that we immediately left and had to find another hotel in the area to stay at after we had already paid in full for the night through Expedia. What a disappointment and waste of money. I would not recommend this property to anyone I know.

This is a boutique hotel with very limited on-site staffing. They only have on-site support from 8am - 1pm. The main issue we had during our stay was the air conditioning, which was restricted to 84 degrees F during our one day stay. The local temp was 100 degrees. It made it nearly impossible to sleep. What made it worse was they lifted the restriction while housekeeping was servicing the room upon our arrival as they allowed us in the room for a couple mins to drop our bags, but put the restriction back in place after housekeeping was done. It's couched as an Eco-friendly policy for Modena, but it came across as a money saving strategy, just as the lack of front desk support seemed to be about saving money as opposed to providing service. Again, attempting to sleep in 84 degree temps made it next to impossible and made this hotel a non-starter in terms of any return visit. Would not stay here again, especially during the summer months.
