The hotel was clean and excellent value for money. Basic room but does the basics very well. 10 min walk to train station and only 40 min train from köln main station. Rooms were very warm but hotel did provide a fan to help. Overall a good stay for affordable prices

The staff were super friendly, Ameer made the Check in process Very smooth . I felt bad that I don’t speak Deutch, but he speaks English fluently. He provided me with everything I needed and more . The room was Very roomy and sparkling clean . Bed was comfy and the room has everything you need . The hotel doesn’t have an elevator which was not a problem since it’s two Storey building. The hotel location was excellent, everything around and the freeway (Autobahn) was very close too. The room doesn’t have an air conditioner, but it wasn’t a problem for April nights , I had to close the windows because it’s was little bit chilly . The main road is very close , so if you’re a light sleeper , you’ll hear cars passing by specially if you leave the window open . I sleep very lightly and soon I closed the windows didn’t have problem sleeping comfortably. The management provided ear plugs Next to the bed , so that’s another way to sleep quietly too . Haven’t gotten the chance to try the buffet to make a comment, hopefully next time . I would highly recommend this place for families, couples , or individuals whom looking for night stay or visiting Bergheim. I will definitely book here again and again

Last minute stop.
We arrived really late in Bergheim...booked on the phone app and got to reception we’ll past eleven O’clock. The guy there was as nice as pie. Great little hotel...sadly we slept through breakfast so can’t testify on that.

Small hotel, cute town
Bergheim is a cute little town. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The room was ok. It has a very small bathroom with a nice shower. But, the beds were not very comfortable & we could hear the guy in the next room singing late at night. Breakfast was very good & the staff catered to all of our requests. There is a small parking lot in back of the hotel where you can park for free. It worked for our one day visit to Cologne (about 23 km away from hotel).

Not a favorite
Disappointed that the wifi was not accessible in our room. The beds were comfortable room was clean. No AC so open window allowed cigarette smoke and street noise in. No fridge, just an empty cupboard where one used to be. Could walk to local stores and restaurants but area and hotel seem to be in transition. Would not stay there again.

Clean place with no facility outside the rooms
The room was quite small even for one person. It was very clean and almost spotless. Rooms have very thin walls and you can almost hear everything next doors are doing. Hotel's restaurant was not working all day and it felt like a dead city after 8 pm. There was no breakfast and not even a place to have a cup of coffee.

Basic hotel.New owners and they need to work on it
No one in reception after 23:00. Room I stayed in was small but clean and had 2 single beds with a big gap in between although I asked for a double. The wi-fi did not work at night and the staff was not very friendly or helpful. But that wasn't the main problem. My room had no heating and it was freezing cold. Could not ask for other room because no one was available. Pretty bad experience overall. I would recommend you pay the extra for real hotel conditions. Booked 3 rooms in total. The other 2 were decent although one had a strong smell of smoke.
