I'll start with what is good about this hotel: location, staff, cleanliness.
The hotel Staff could not be nicer- so helpful and friendly and really lovely.
The hotel is very clean and smells lovely at all hours. My room was cleaned very well, and the amenities in the room (towels, shampoo etc) were lovely.
Sadly, the accommodation itself was not in line with this positive vibe.
I was travelling solo, and was given a single room. The room is tiny, as is the bed. Which in within itself is not a huge issue, but when you pay £150 per night, you'd expect something slightly bigger.
The bed was not secured to the floor and kept slipping and sliding throughout the night. The mattress did the same (the bed's surface is very smooth and slippery) and made me feel very uncomfortable during the night
The aircon is hidden behind the thick blind out curtains- so either you sleep with the curtains open, or you have air-con in the room. Lastly, the shower ran out of hot water every time I used it which was quite unpleasant- especially considering it is a 4* hotel.
