I was in Seoul for three days and needed a place on a student budget. A friend recommended I look for a place close to the green line, and this place appeared on the map when I searched. It is close to Hongik University and just a few minutes away from the 1 exit, so I was able to navigate there easily. At night, the area comes alive with college students and there is good shopping and food nearby.
The one member of the staff I met was efficient and not fussy at all which I appreciated. I liked that the door locks are electronic so you don't have to worry about losing a key or card while you're out in the city (just don't forget your pin #!). The room I stayed in was very small but as I was traveling alone by myself, I didn't mind. I liked having my own bathroom, and also appreciated the extra amenities in the room - mini fridge, free bottles of water, a hair dryer, extra toothbrushes. These little things were very thoughtful and nice to come across.
I would take off just for the almost see-through curtains at night which let in some light from outside and made it so that I was wary about having the lights on at night while moving around. Additionally, a family with a baby stayed in a room close to mine so I could hear them sometimes at night. But other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable place with not too many frills but close to public transportation.
