Fabulous experience from check-in to checkout. Each and every person, from the owner Ahmed, to the manager Mohammed, and help from Omar, Malika, and the other names I didn't catch, were extremely kind, helpful, respectful, informative. They paid great attention to detail. They kindly upgraded our room to the junior suite once they found out they had availability, which was very kind of them. We saw three rooms while we were there and every room is unique with impressive decor, with high end furnishings, which would be found in American give 5-star hotels, with a local Moroccan flare.
Upon check-in, we were quickly served delicious Moroccan mint tea and biscuits, and our bags were carried up to our room. There were 2 water bottles in our room. The premises were very clean. We loved sitting by their fireplace in both the libraries, as it was raining so the terrace couldn't be used.
We woke every morning to the sweet sounds of the birds chirping and soft music playing in the riad courtyard during breakfast. The breakfast was impeccable and impressively served, and different every day! The standards per day included mint tea, coffee, fresh orange juice, fresh bread, sweet yogurt, and bananas. And also included pancakes, pound cake, Moroccan breakfast roti or pizza! It was served like an English afternoon tea!
Next, the location was AWESOME. Less than a 2 minute walk to Jmaa el-Fnaa, we were as close to the action as we wanted to be & yet slip away into quiet bliss.
