La casa
Sylvia is a pleasant and helpful hostess. She speaks fluent French and English and has information about local destinations.
And the room? Mine had a large window. Fortunately, I don't need tv, and sharing a bath isn't so bad. I could sit on the bed instead of a chair and write without a table or desk. But if you're conceding that much, the nightly rate seems steep, especially if you have to pay only in cash for six nights.
La casa is a decent place with a friendly hostess in a good location, but I wouldn't call it a good value. Maybe that just reflects Ushuaia in general.
