Lovely small hotel, handy for all attractions and for centre. 20-30 mins transfer from airport - booked via hotel for 20 euros. Lovely helpful and friendly staff, decent breakfast as well. Was very impressed and loved Tirana which as a great city break for a few days.

Hotel was in a perfect location within walking distance to restaurants and tourist attractions. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The hotel receptionist was very helpful answering our many questions and was particularly helpful with restaurant suggestions as well as helping us book a day tour to Berat. It is a very nice and small hotel in centrum. Nice and friendly personal. The traffic around the hotel is intensiv. The big mosque is close to the hotel so you hear the call to prayer very loud.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Room was a well sized modern one, clean & equipped with kettle & fridge. Good rooftop bar. Room unfortunately was a little too noisy from traffic noise, but that may have been because of the side of the building we stayed at & you’ll always get traffic noise when staying most cities.

Very kind and serviceminded people at the reception. Nice hotel, well situated. Breakfast was OK. The room and bathroom were clean. Perhaps more space would have been needed around the toilett. I didn't manage to get TV any channel in English. WIFI worked perfectly. Would definitively book again.

It was our first time in Tirana and we did speak the language well. The staff were very patient with us and very accommodating to us. Bessa in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful and made our stay that much better. We also very much enjoyed the bar on the fourth level was very comfortable with nice views of the city.

Everything was good. There is no temporary parking to unload luggage, so be prepared to stop on a busy while unloading. Easy public parking underground within 3 mins of walking. It was very hot outside (37C) during our stay and hotel lobby and stairs were very warm. Room AC was able to keep room cool after we had it running continuously for 24hrs. Breakfast was good. Staff is very friendly.

Boutique hotel with great service
The MonarC is a lovely small hotel ideally situated to many of Tirana's main attractions. The staff is friendly and professional and made us feel right at home. I was having issues communicating with a restaurant we were trying to go to, and the front desk helped out by making a call and clarifying our options. Great service. Will definitely stay there again.

The MonarC Hotel is a charming, small property that provides clean and comfortable rooms and dining facilities. The ladies who provided us with breakfast were very sweet and took care of us, providing us with eggs cooked perfectly and delicious cappuccinos. The hotel is in the most convenient location and walkable to everything that we wanted to see. We also absolutely loved the rooftop terrace, where we could enjoy our late afternoon drinks while looking at the new mosque across the street and the beautiful city of Tirana. The value provided by this hotel is amazing and we would absolutely stay here again next time we’re in Tirana, a city we completely loved!

Beautiful hotel with extremely good service
The hotel was beautifully decorated and located in a nice area. At the hotel had a restaurant, where tasty and varied breakfast were served. On the top floor was a nice bar with a view over the area. My room was large, clean and quiet, the shower was good. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I will choose this hotel again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that none of the channels on the TV I could watch. They were all locked and the person at the front counter said some of them I had to pay for. If I had to pay for all the channel's. I don't know why I would have to pay for every single one. Especially at a 4 star hotel. I wanted to watch Real Madrid the night while I was there but could not access the channel. One sports channel should be included and not have to be paid for.

This hotel is in a perfect location. Nearly all of Tirana is in walkable distance from this central hotel. The staff are lovely and eager to please. The rooftop bar is a perfect place to unwind in the evening either before or after heading out into the city. The rooms are clean and comfy. My only 3 complaints were that 1. It is situated on a cross road of 2 main roads and so it is very noisy throughout the night. The windows did nothing to reduce the noise. Not the hotel's fault, but just be prepared for traffic noise. Then 2. We booked a superior double room that had a hot-tub type bath, this did not work. But that's minor. Finally, 3. They do have a restaurant at the hotel that does a wonderful breakfast, but never seemed open at the times it said it was open for lunch or dinner. The few times we were at the hotel at these times and went to look, the lights were off and no-one was there. We could be wrong but that is how it appeared. Otherwise, fantastic hotel! Would recommend and would more than happily stay there again.

We booked a stay for three nights through Expedia. After two nights, we had to move to a smaller room, as the hotel claimed the original room was needed otherwise. We did not get a refund for the price difference, and we never received a written confirmation about the situation from them, which we could have sent to Expedia, although we were promised multiple time that we get one "later". We then also complained about this to Expedia, and the hotel never responded to them either. So the hotel is okay as long as all goes well, but you get no support in case of problems. I suggest you book elsewhere.
