The hostess is very nice and easy to communicate with. Property is decorated with a unique feel.
Some observations I had about the property that I kind of picked up that couldn't really get from the listing.
-My room was located over a bar and located on ground floor. Unfortunately, there weren't any dark blinds to cover the window, only see through ones. While they work during the day, during the night they turned my room into a movie theatre for anyone smoking outside the bar between 9pm and 12am. I feel add a blind set of curtains to cover the window at night, and open them up to leave the see through curtains during the day would solve this.
-The street outside was under major reconstruction at the time of my stay, which added to the noise. Obviously it will end at some point, but from the amount of stuff they were doing, it will last to at least summer 2024.
-Honestly, I remember the hostess mentioning about how to lock the front door, but I was tired from the long transit from BC and missed the explanation. A demonstration would have actually helped, but I figured it out in the end after a couple of days. To lock, use the same key you use for your own room and raise the handle up as you turn the key.
