Hostel in a great location
Hostel located in the heart of the Stone Town. Very nice staff, kind and helpful. The breakfast was great as for the hostel! Eggs, sausages, fresh fruits, toast bread, jam, tee or coffee. Each bed has got the electrical power, own light and curtains so allows for privacy and comfort. Really good value for money.

Regarding room selection on the website, some rooms clearly state 'shared bathroom', while others were categorised as standard double room or basic double room. Very basic, but clean and friendly. AC in dorms, but not in private double room. Experienced noise in the morning from people/staff sitting on the balcony outside the room windows (which could be accessed from the kitchen), which disturbed any efforts of trying to sleep after 8am.

Ishmael was amazing. He got us into the room quickly, helped us with laundry and told us see good places to eat and visit. Always see him with a smile, so very welcoming! Down fall is people can smoke in the balcany, which goes right into your room. You have to keep windows open because it gets too hot otherwise.

The staff at ten to ten were always so nice and friendly. They helped me navigate around Zanzibar and the tours were a good experience for the cost. The hostel is kept very clean and all the amenities. I felt very safe there and met other solo travelers to enjoy Zanzibar with.
