The BlueHostel is a nice place. It was very easy to get to the main train station and the metro. It was only a 20-25 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. The room was clean and quiet. The staff is very helpful and kind. I definitely recommend the BlueHostel.

I was on the impression that this was a hotel. Of course for someone that lives in the US and that doesn’t know what a hostel is this place was a disappointment. It is not what is advertised on the website. This is a room in a building with no elevator and my 72 year husband had to climb 3 set of stairs with approximately 20 stairs each. The air conditioner did not work properly and Rome was super hot. I think the description should be more accurate this way people can decide whether they want to stay there or not.

The hotel was in a central part of Rome, a nine minute walk from the train station and walking distance to the many of the sites. The hotel staff was friendly and recommended restaurants for us to visit and also gave us advice for how to visit the sites for the least crowded entrances. The room was clean and comfortable. Be prepared to walk up three flights of stairs with luggage though!

The room was close enough to walk everywhere two minutes from a square that offered streets in all directions with all the amenities you could ask for. The hosts were wonderful people and we enjoyed meeting them. We were running late on check in day but they were very patient and thorough with us and shared everything we needed to know.
