This was in an excellent and safe location for getting anywhere in the city, and Manuel shared all the necessary stops in town. The bus for the airport and the metro for Old Town were steps away from the front door. The rooms were spacious, clean, and relaxing. The breakfast and host Anna were exceptional. And it was no problem sharing access to the bathroom with the other rooms. We highly recommend Republica and would love to visit again!

Good place for a fraction of the cost
Decent place, good service and friendly staff. My issue was we were not given any instructions on where to go. The B&B was located on the 4th floor of the building but there’s no sign outside so it took us awhile to locate the place. Once we got in we have no code so we press the buzzer, it would have been difficult if our flight got delayed more or late arrival. I talked to staff and she told me she forwarded all check in instructions to hotel.com but I never got those. Across the B&B is the arena pequeño that has a variety of fast foods located at the lower ground, also cinema and stores. So convenient for shopping the essentials!

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay here! Everything was clean, even better than the photos. Manuel & Anna were so helpful - they gave us a map and highlighted many things to do, how to get there, and gave us lots of recommendations for our first time in Lisbon. The area is great for transportation links - 2 minute walk to the nearest Metro station, and many buses right outside. 10/10 would book again!

Great place to stay. Host was super communicative before we got there with all the info to get inside. Room was simple but all we needed. Had A/C and a cute balcony. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for 2 people. The shared bathrooms were not an issue at all. Breakfast in the morning was great!

Loved our stay at Republica B&B. I am a single mom traveling with two young kids. The B&B was a great location close to trains, buses. Room and attached bathroom was spacious and clean, beds super comfortable. The staff, especially Divya and Manuel were absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. Can’t wait to go back. Stay here! We absolutely loved our stay with our 2 daughters. Clean, welcoming, Anna was very kind and took the time to explain attractions in the city by giving us a map and circling the most important landmarks/attractions. Breakfast was delicious.
