This was our second stay at La Vella Khao Lak, and we were once again impressed by the friendly and professional staff who go above and beyond. However, some guests reserve pool and beach chairs for hours without using them, which is unfair to others. We recommend management put up signs in multiple languages and enforce a policy to remove unattended towels after 30 minutes.

Modern beach hotel

The hotel is on a lovely, relatively quiet beach on the outskirts of the local town. A quick 5 mins walk or 2 mins in the hotel buggy. We had a sea view deluxe room which was great. Beautiful views, quiet, large, practical space and well serviced throughout the week. As mentioned by others the breakfast is excellent, especially loved the coffee which is freshly made on request. Not keen on the loud dance music played often over lunch or in the evening as takes away from the relaxing beach vibe. Liked happy hour on the beach.
