Apt has mold, smell gave us headaches!
We had a terrible experience at this apartment hotel. The apartment, we booked had a strong mold smell, which gave us headaches and made it impossible to stay. Despite our efforts to air out the room by opening windows for a few hours, the smell persisted. Upon closer inspection, we found mold in the shower and at the bottom of the doors, where the wood had even expanded from moisture, as shown in the photos.
We didn’t feel safe or comfortable sleeping there due to the mold issue, we both suffer from severe allergies. When we requested different accommodations, none were available, and our request for a refund for the nights we did not stay was denied by the management. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night, on what was supposed to be a special birthday trip for us both, and had to scramble to find alternative accommodations at 11pm the night we arrived to Seville.
While the view from the rooftop was nice, it didn’t make up for the stress and health concerns caused by the mold. I’m sharing this review so others can be aware before booking. The experience was far from what we expected based on the listing.
