Hotel and room was beautifully decorated and well-kept, very in-tune with city. The room was quiet and close to city centre. The hosts spoke good English. The room is large with a decent, modern-ish bathroom.
Whilst the hosts were helpful when asked, the service was overall inconsistent. Some days our room wasn't cleaned and toilet paper not restocked, hot water for tea would be given at breakfast one day then not the next. The welcome drink that was listed on Expedia booking was never given (not that we really mind, its just the principle). The bed was small both in width and length, as a tall person my feet hung off the end. Also, we found it bizarre that there was no toilet seat on our toilet?! (and this was the most expensive casa we stayed at in Cuba, by a long shot). We also had laundry done and it was returned extremely damp despite no rush to return it.
Overall, this is a beautiful hotel and well kept however the very expensive price tag (relative to Cuba) is not worth the money in our opinion.
