A five star rating. Have been to Taupo many times so we wanted to stay in Acacia Bay this time so it was great as the Bay Bar & Brasserie was only a 400 metre walk. Room, breakfast and hosts were fantastic.

We felt welcomed. The property is in a nice, quiet location. The room was very comfortable with en-suite bathroom. Tea and coffee provisions were on the landing area. Within walking distance of shop, garden centre and bar/brasserie. A few kilometres from Taupo so transport required (not sure about public transport). Mary and Ian are great hosts, we hIghly recommended staying at ‘The Loft’ and we would visit again!

Het ontbijt was perfect. Kamer is netje maar klein. Badkamer netjes. Maar voor de verdere rest geen ruimte om te zitten of wat te drinken. Dus alles moest op je slaapkamer gebeuren. De prijs voor dit alles was aan de hoge kant.
