This is a beautiful little B&B in a charming town. My only problem is how difficult it was to find the place, even with GPS...we drove round and round, and finally phoned the owner to talk us to the door. Thank goodness he was available, and speaks English!
My husband walks with a cane, the stairs and doorways were a little tricky. There is a creperie and small grocery on the same square, (lots of parking), but nearest restaurant with a bar was a long walk down and back up the hill after. The house and garden are lovely, the food was delicious, the room spacious and quirky -- amazing ancient floorboards! The neighborhood was a little down at the heels, but we didn´t feel unsafe. A walk around the block showed us some of the houses are 400 years old, the ancient church and cemetery worth a look, too.
Deep terraced back yard, lovely table for an evening glass of wine... too bad another guest got there first!
